"The restaurant is excellent. You have different meals to chose from so you can make your own compisition of meny. Many meals are made from local produce. The wine suggestions are also very propriate. We have stayed there several times because its a perfect place to stay at about half the distance. The breakfast is good and includes what you need."

"The different levels between entrance, reception-restaurant and rooms could be a problem if the querky elevator dont wants to cooperate. The castle could be hard to find if you only navigate by GPS. Tomatojouice is an underestimated ingridience at breakfast."

"Vi hadde valt hotellet før det låg i närheten av ett jobb vi utførte. Fin natur rundt. Vi åt middag 2 dagen. Den var god om än varmrätten undersaltad.."

"Tycker inte frukosten var något extra. Första morgonen var brødet riktigt osmakligt. , medan det var bettre andra dagen. før oss djurägare kunde det gott finnas mer utrymme for oss."

"The best cozy stay on the road across Sweden to Stockholm or just to explore the views and walks along Vättern Staff is always super welcoming and service minded, the whole setups is very convenient and the main building gives some grandeur and a very nice breakfast view. All facilities are there including charging and sauna - and the are very dog friendly with dedicated rooms for guests with dogs, also for when dining/breakfast if the dog prefers to be with their family"

"This is absolutely one of the most charming hotels I have ever visited. There are so many details on every floor. It's old and it shows, not in a bad way but there's a lot of history. It is so cosy. The spa is super but the outdoor pool in winter was so relaxing after a long days work. The gym was nothing you will find in any other hotel. It was big with good equipment. Breakfast was splendid."

"The breakfast was a wonderful surprise! A beautifully laid out buffet with a variety of delicious breads, cheeses and cold cuts, as well as fruit and sliced vegetables, and cereals with yoghurt etc. served in a very bright and welcoming dining area. Then the rooms are very generous in size with very comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom. What was great was that there was a little fridge so could buy some food and drink to have in the room. The hotel is very conveniently located, close enough to the main north-south highway, yet far enough away that it was well out of eye and earshot. In fact, the hotel is located in an exceptionally beautiful stretch of undulating countryside. As such it’s an excellent choice as a stopover to break up the drive when traveling long distance, or to stay for a longer spell to explore the area, which has a lot to offer. Definitely drive up to the church in Habo. It really is an exceptionally beautiful structure."
