Stationen is beside Ystad Station and Ferry Terminal, 5 minutes’ walk from the main square, Stortorget. Housed in the old 19th-century station, it offers harbour views. All of Stationen's simply decorated rooms have a seating area. Guests can choose between rooms with private or shared bathroom facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the cosy breakfast room. Other facilities include a common room with TV, books, toys and games. The sandy Marinan Beach is less than 10 minutes’ walk from B&B Stationen.

"This is a beautiful old building in a great position in the wonderful city of Ystad. I've stayed before and was given the same room.. No13! It's a beautiful room with windows facing the ferries and side windows too. It's tastefully furnished with a very comfortable bed. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The breakfast is great. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it. The staff are lovely"

"For visiting Ystad, Stationen, we think it is perfect. Location is ideal-close to the ferry, close to the tourist office, close to the old town attractions, close to the Wallander trail, close to area sights like Ales Stener. Our room was spacious by Swedish standards and well appointed. It overlooked one of the ferry terminals which provided some activity interest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant breakfast buffet had typical Swedish food though more than most( we know as we visited several relatives). If you like history, Stationen is like taking a step back in time though in a modern way. It is right next to the active railroad station, but the trains are electric so there is no noise to speak of--didn't bother sleep at all."
"Like the five places we stayed in Sweden, the TV options at Stationen are very limited, especially for English speakers. There is no staff on duty in the afternoon, so if there are any difficulties or wanting a recommendation, there is no one to help you on site-all phone. It wasn't clear that a code was needed to enter after the staff had left for the day."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."
"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."

"This is a small and cosy hotel with old world charm, situated close to the railway station. The street, however, is very quiet. The breakfast is excellent and it is served in a charming common room. Highly recommended."
