"I really liked the interior design and the staff at the front desk. Wifi was working great. Location is close to lots of restaurants and the park by the ocean."

My room had a really small window at 2 m hight so the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Also there was a construction site right next to the building which made quite some noise.

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !

First room I got was stucked away and there was a cockroach but they changed the room immediately for me

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. "The location is good, there are bus stops nearby, places to eat and markets to shop, the hostel is very clean and nice, the lady at the reception is very helpful and friendly, you won't have any problems."

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

I honestly have nothing

"The location sits on main public transit options; Bus stop, METRO station, and one street away a main connecting street offering additional public bus stops & connections. A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

"V hostlu imajo vse, kar sem potrebovala za mojih 7 dni tukaj (udobno posteljo, hladilnik, kuhinjo, pralni stroj in brezplačno brisačo). Osebje je zelo prijazno, vzdušje sproščeno in ker je v tem hostlu precej samostojnih popotnikov, je tukaj tudi zelo enostavno najti nove prijatelje za izlete v hribe."

Edina stvar, ki sem jo pogrešala, je možnost izposoje ključavnice za omarico v sobi.
