"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"

The place was clean, but it felt like there was room for improvement. Additionally, cars with low ground clearance would need to be parked approximately 100 meters away.

Card machine was broken, so payment was much more complicated than expected

"Nice size single room with private bathroom and air-com. Very central both to the old part and the main train station. There was a fridge, a kettle and chai offering and water in the room. I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

Little bit older furniture.

"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

The road towards the accommodation may be a challenge for light weight cars, but -definitely with 4 wheel drives- if you take it easy it is doable and worth it!

"The staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient Lots of good places to eat, supermarket with imported goods & sundry shops all at walking distance There's a mini refrigerator, ironing board & washing machine for such a good price!"

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple.
