"The location is great and the staff we’re the most helpful and friendly workers i’ve met! Loved the upstairs terrace for relaxing and reading plus meeting other travellers. Nothing to complain about beds, rooms and propably the best communal kitchen in a hostel i’ve seen! So if you like cooking own meals, this is definately a huhe plus!"
"The neighboring hostel makes some noise, but it stops at 23 because of the town rules, so nothing too bad!"
"Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and with fewer people which really made for a quiet stay. Near the party area but still quiet. The owner was super helpful and quite responsive. He helped us navigate the lake."

"Oh Mandalas.. what can I say? I had a great time here, met some lovely people and staff and returned a few weeks later. Not a party hostel but close enough to the action. Bathrooms and dorms clean, I had an entrance level female dorm next to the bathroom. Just be aware that there is limited warm water in Guatemala and at lake Atitlán."
"Limited warm water. One morning, the cleaning staff were having a very loud gossip session right outside my window very early in the morning. Not ideal. But everything else was great"

"Super comfy beds and 3 bed female dorm was spacious with lockers. Bathroom was basic but clean and had hot shower. Good kitchen and nice rooftop area. But of an alleyway to get there but was fine and a 2 minute walk to the Main Street. Would stay again."

"Nice hostel with great roof terrace. Kitchen is very nice. Staff was helpful and they offer many services. The hostel cat is also insanely cute. I was a bit afraid because many reviews talked about the sketchy alley to get to the hostel, but I found it no problem. It is a bit tricky to find the first time, but after that no issues and the alley was also not scary to me."
"Clothes came back with some odd stains after using the hostel laundry service. You can also really hear the noise from Mr Mullets partyhostel. Not a problem to me personally, but maybe not great for light sleepers."
