Situated 900 metres from the town centre of Mâcon, the Cit'Gostilna Escatel hotel offers free WiFi access, an outdoor swimming pool and payed private garaža. With double glazed windows, the low-cost guest rooms are equipped with a TV and air conditioning. Each room has a private bathroom that is complete with a hairdryer. The resort has a terrace, a bar with a billiards table and a continental breakfast can be served every morning at an extra charge and upon request. The surrounding area is full of leisure activities such as golf, horse riding, tennis, fishing and more. Please note the gostilna is closed on Sundays. On Sundays the reception is open from 7.30am to 12 am. "Easy to find and the owner or manager was fantastic in helping us book in. Whe room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We didn't try the restaurant because we ate out."

"Arriving at 5.30pm we had to check-in using the booth as the main entrance to the hotel was closed and the side entrance/ fire escape to gain access to our room. There was no staff.It felt like the Mary Celeste! However, the room was large, clean, and the bed very comfortable. Despite ongoing renovation work, breakfast was available the following morning with a great selection and the reception area was staffed."

"Nice, big modern room, with excellent shower. Hotel is well placed, with a 15 minute flat walk taking you into the centre of the town / riverside. All staff friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast facility."

"Great customer service, location and facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable."
"perfect no-frills solution for a overnight stop during a road trip. The Hotel is spotless clean, all facilities are in excellent shape, the personnel is friendly. The location is definitely not picturesque (do not choose this hotel for a romantic getaway :-)), but it's hard to bet if you are by car. 2 minutes from the highway, but still quiet. Parking in front of the hotel."
