"The house is fantastic and ideally located for exploring the west of Iceland. It is beautiful, clean and tidy, and can accommodate a group of up to eight people. Towels, sheets and soap are provided in excellent condition and in abundance. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, although perhaps a larger pot would have been useful for a group of Italians. The comfortable rooms allow you to divide up according to your needs. If necessary, a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and cleaning supplies are available. The owners are very kind and always available to help. The outdoor hot tub is a really nice addition. I highly recommend this accommodation."

"This was one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at. The account was fully stocked with everything a family could need for vacation. They even had the hot tub heated and ready for our arrival! They had an entire booklet with information about the area, yours, point of interests as well as info on using certain appliances, light switches etc. My family was able to see a spectacular show of the northern lights from the backyard. I will definitely be back!"

"Probably a cat was sitting on the bench in the kitchen some time before we checked in – quite a lot of hair. Not a problem for us but make sure to tell the owner when you're allergic."

"Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage direkt am Fjord. Alles ist stylisch eingerichtet mit Gemälden der Künstlerin/Eigentümerin. Sehr gemütlich, mit schönen Ausblicken auf die Berge und das Wasser. Man kann bei schönem Wetter auch draußen sitzen. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus, die Küche gut ausgestattet und die Betten gemütlich. Die beste Übernachtung, die ich in Island hatte. Von Borgarnes aus kommt man schnell nach Snaefellsnes, Dalir/Westfjorde und auch nach Reykjavik. Im Ort ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder auch nur für eine kurze Übernachtung auf der Durchreise braucht."

"Das einzige, was man verbessern könnte, sind ein paar praktische Dinge: kleine Tische/Ablagemöglichkeiten neben den Sofas und neben den Betten, Lampen neben den Betten (auf beiden Seiten). Auch ein paar mehr Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Kleidung/Kleiderhaken in den Schlafzimmern wären schön."
