"Hotel je v stari hiši s prelepim notranjim dvoriščem. Tu se počutiš kot v muzeju, saj je razstavljenih vse polno starin. Prelepo! Vrhunsko! Nahaja se v židovski četrti in do Registan trga je 10 min hoje. Sobe so velike, kopalnice nove, kjer vse deluje. Celotno osebje je izjemno prijazno in uslužno. Zajtrk je zelo bogat in gurmanski, sveže pripravljen, vsak dan nekaj drugega. Dobrote so iz odlične pekarne. Ker sem zadnje jutro zgodaj zapuščala Samarkand, so mi naredili odličen in bogat zajtrk dali za seboj. Res zelo prijazno in pozorno. Z veseljem bi se še vrnila."

"Sometimes it was a bit loud in the courtyard in the evenings, people were talking and drinking and the room doesn’t have a good soundproofing system"

"Aziz and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the place is so relaxed. It's a beautiful old building with a lovely quirky courtyard to sit and chill and chat to fellow travellers. The place is full of character and very close to the major sites. Really good breakfast and the bread was so delicious and fresh."

"Due to being and old building it was a bit chilly and could be a bit noisy as rooms all face the courtyard but otherwise perfect place to stay."

"The hotel owner and the employees are super friendly! The whole ambiance of a real historical building is amazing! The location is superb! Very close to the main attractions of Samarkand. The breakfast is super tasty and different every day!"

"Things in the bathroom were a little bit broken ar not very well attached...The furniture in the room was a bit too old.... Beds in the twin room are a bit small, but quite comfortable..."

"Very rustic accommodation. Very close to the main attractions. We arrived at 5am and Aziz was very helpful and accomodating and let us sleep in a temporary room before we checked into our actual room. Very cosy and homely place."

"Loved the old house and courtyard; the history of the house as told by manager, Aziz. Good location in the old Jewish Quarter. My upstairs room overlooked the courtyard and was really comfortable- I loved my room. Great breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Kettle to boil hot water for tea and coffee in the room would be a great inclusion. Breakfast was often served from 8.15-8.30 onwards, so a little late for early-risers like myself and friends, but the delicious and varied breakfasts made up for this case in point. Place could get quite noisy on occasion as the rooms all overlook the central courtyard where guests socialise. Overall I'd recommend the Legende."
