Just a few steps away from the beach, Barry's Beach Resort offers accommodation near Sange Village. The resort has an outdoor pool and okrepčevalnica. The bungalow-style rooms are made out of local materials. Each room is equipped with a desk, fan and mosquito net. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower. The resort's gastronomska miza and bar overlooks the beach. The resort offers bicycle rental, snorkelling trips and excursions to Saadani National Park, which is about 26 km away. "We choose Barrys to get away from all the stress and commerce that always follows you when one travel to touristic places. Barrys is located far away from anything. It is you together with the silence, waves, and lovely staff. We took the boat from Zanzibar and stayed for four days. It is one hour drive to Saadani national park where you can see all animals but Rhinos and Cheetas. Our safari was a great animal experience with packed breakfast and lunch prepared by Deodatha and her staff. You will be taken care of in the best possible way by Barry, Deodatha, and staff."
"When you travel with teenagers they will experience a slow WiFi connection, but once ocer that hurdle we actually started to play games etc."
"Die Lage ist ein Traum, abgeschieden und komplett ruhig. Man hat das Gefühl der Strand gehört einem alleine. Ohne Touristen und ohne lästige Beachboys, wer entspannte Tage in Ruhe genießen möchte ist hier absolut richtig. Wirklich ein kleines Paradies. Kilometerlange Strandspaziergäne in absoluter Ruhe, das gibt es sonst nirgends. Das Personal ist spitze und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Besonders die Hotelmanagerin Deodatha ist nicht nur eine Organisationstalent, die unterstützt wie und wo es nur geht sondern sie ist auch eine ausgezeichnete Köchin. Das gesamte Essen war einfach nur hervorragend! Wir haben den Aufenthalt extrem genossen. Asante sana 😘😘😘 liebe Deodatha"

"Le lieu est sublime à l’écart des sentiers battus et de l’agitation touristique. La literie est très confortable et les chambres sont grandes. Nous avions celles donnant directement sur la mer. Plage très agréable pour se promener comme un Robinson. Mais la grande différence vient du personnel de l’hôtel au petit soin. La cuisine du restaurant est mémorable, la meilleure que nous ayons dégusté en Tanzanie grâce à son chef hyper aussi professionnel que généreux. Merci à toute l’équipe de Deo!"

"Die Anreise sind 90 km von der asphaltierten A14. In der Trockenzeit 3h Wir haben für die Rückfahrt zur Hauptstraße 6h gebraucht wegen einer unterspülten Brücke. Die Straße von Bagamoyo nach Pangani ist im Bau. Fertigstellung ungewiss. Das nicht erwähnen von Zufahrt Schwierigkeiten ist aber bei fast allen Lodges in Tanzania und Kenia System immanent."

"Veramente favoloso! La posizione è perfetta per raggiungere il nyerere National park. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ha organizzato per noi la visita al parco. Anche lo staff è preparato e gentilissimo. Lavorano al campo anche dei Masai che ti accompagnao la sera in camera e ti aiutano con le valige. La struttura affaccia direttamente sul fiume in una posizione sicura e rialzata e da qui si può organizzare un safari in barca della durata di circa due ore in cui si possono vedere coccodrilli, vari tipi di uccelli e ippopotami. La vista dalla camera è dalla zona comune è spettacolare. La camera è pulita e spaziosa e con una vista meravigliosa. Ulteriore nota positiva è il cibo, cucinato internamente sul fuoco e veramente buonissimo. Ogni dettaglio del campo, dagli alloggi alla cucina, è curato e garantisce un'esperienza immersiva. Riassumendo....meraviglioso e fortemente consigliato."

"I stayed at zLife Hostel for one night and absolutely loved it. Modi, the reception staff, was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. He gave me excellent advice on how to spend the day in Stone Town, explained why it’s important to use an official guide, what the fair prices should be, and helped me avoid common tourist traps. I truly felt looked after. The hostel is very well located, in a small lively alley where locals often stop to take photos. It’s walking distance from the main marina where excursions depart and close to everything in Stone Town. My room was beautiful, very clean, and had a private bathroom. There was no AC, but the large fan worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the windows had metal bars, which made me feel very safe. The overall cleanliness was excellent. A warm, well-run hostel with great people and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again."
