"Arhitekturno zelo zanimiva namestitev na obrobju mesta. V ograjenem vrtu je parkirišče in bazen, sobe so izredno zanimive, prostorne in zelo čiste. Ponoči je mir in v udobni postelji sva zelo dobro spala. Zjutraj pa je postrežen okusen zajtrk. Gostiteljica je zelo prijazna in ustrežljiva. Resnično nobenih pripomb. Če se boste znašli v tem delu Tunizije zelo priporočam to namestitev."

"The owners are very friendly and helped us out with a car problem. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Large shower room and good and hot shower. Secure parking on-site and gated."

"Gated area, surrounded by the oasis although you need the car to go anywhere and you can park inside. Very stylish and cozy, it is an artsy place, turns out where we had breakfast is used as a garden studio for painting. Staff spoke perfect English. Breakfast had bread freshly baked."

"We had a wonderful stay at Dar Seddik. The location is fantastic – set in a green oasis on the edge of Gafsa, it was the perfect base for exploring a less touristy part of Tunisia, which is exactly what we were looking for. The hotel has a great host, and the views from the rooms overlook the beautiful palm oasis surrounding the property. We took a morning walk through the palms, and it was a truly peaceful experience. We were served delicious and generous breakfasts that gave us plenty of energy for the journey ahead. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover the non-touristic side of Tunisia!"

"Unusual warehouse style. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Nice balcony overlooking the front courtyard. The female staff were wonderfully hospitable. Great breakfast due to home grown produce of honey, olive oil and dates. Nice social space for dining and games room."

"Owners housed very aggressive dogs. Constant barking all night made sleep difficult. Bathroom water was only available during the evening and morning. Closer inspection shows the property could use a bit of love and attention - window glass taped to the window frames, gaps between the floorboards shows the room below. Overpriced for the stay it could be if they looked after the building."

"Having to spend the night in Gafsa, you'll find that all the accommodations have bad or very bad reviews, so you have to make your choice with a grain of salt. Reading the previous reviews about Dar Seddik, I was expecting anything. Fortunately, my experience was quite good. The accommodation is well located on the edge of the palm grove, with spacious rooms. Although it's clearly lacking in maintenance, I expected worse conditions. It was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable, with nice, clean sheets. The lady who served us was charming and always willing to help. Breakfast was reasonably good. I think it's a perfectly suitable place to spend a night."

"The arrival alley has huge potholes, but it's a short stretch. Maintenance could be improved, especially in the bathroom and the wooden floor in the bedroom (it urgently needs a coat of varnish). But we had a good stay there."

"We were advised not to leave the compound after dark due to the presence of wild stray dogs in the area, which is something to keep in mind as the property is located outside the city. While this wasn’t a major issue for us, it’s worth noting for those who may want to explore in the evening. As for the accommodations, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the mattresses were quite firm, which might not be to everyone's preference. If you prefer a softer bed, bringing an extra cushion or mattress topper might be a good idea. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was still enjoyable."

We have received the room which was different from what we had chosen in the offer. The bathroom was very small and tight. After showering, the water was everywhere due to too short curtain. And we got only one towel set (1x small, 1x big) for two people."
