"Alice was a fantastic host and the room and all the facilities were super clean. Breakfast was extremely rich with a variety of fresh and home-made products and absolutely delicious. And so was dinner - with local specialties prepared by Alice with great care! Alice was very flexible in terms of times for breakfast and whether we wanted to have dinner or not. The location in Le Tampon was perfect for hiking as well as beach trips. Because it lies slightly elevated the temperatures at night were lower and less humid than at the coast. It was perfect for sleeping. The bed was also very comfortable. And it was very quiet. We loved our stay at Caloupilé and would recommend it to anyone visiting La Réunion!"

"Alice and Meteen are great hosts that give great recommendations for exploring the area, restaurants etc. The breakfast is amazing and includes homemade cakes, juice and jams. They invited the guests to a shared local dinner that Alice cooked - great food with warm atmosphere and a great chance to get to know new people. The room is well decorated and equipped and the location is very nice with great view. BTW they both speak fluent English, that really impacted our great experience (not a common thing in Reunion island )"

"L’accueil et la disponibilité d’Alice. Chambre très agréable et propre. Accès à un espace commun spacieux et convivial, avec boissons à disposition. Le petit déjeuner savoureux avec produits frais locaux et faits maison (crêpes, cookies, confitures!) Nous avons aussi pris l’option dîners chez Alice qui nous a surpris par des mets locaux ultra frais préparés avec soin et beaucoup de saveurs. Mention spéciale aux punchs maison avec des fruits exotiques et dégustation des rhums arrangés maison aux goûts peu communs."
