Backing onto peaceful greenery, 10 Cottages offers self-contained cottages with a balcony, just 2 minutes' walk from the center of Franz Josef Glacier and a 3-minute walk from the Glacier Hot Pools. Free off-street parkirna mesta and free unlimited WiFi are included. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, hairdryer, electric heating, electric blankets and a kitchenette with a microwave. From the grounds guests can view snow-capped mountains and the Croz Glacier (weather permitting). The tour desk can organise a range of activities including discounted helicopter flights, hikes, sky diving, kayaking, horse treks and glacier walks. There is an onsite launderette and the nearest bistro is within 100 metres. 10 Cottages can arrange guest discounts for some restaurants.

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
