"My second stay at Varja House and just as special as the first time around. Sajesh the owner helped me organise all my bus trips in Nepal and also showed me around Patan when he was not too busy. I felt part of the community around the square where the guest house is located. All those lovely people there made my trip and stay very special and enjoyable!"

"I would give 12/10. My favorite Guest House in Nepal by far. Perfect location right in the heart of Patan. Traditional Nepalese house renovated to a high standard. Spacious, clean and cozy rooms with nice bathrooms and some with a beautiful wooden balcony. Super helpful management and very friendly staff, made me feel right at home. I can only recommend it when in the Kathmandu valley."

"The hotel is located in very good location, on the outskirts of Thamel, a few steps from good Yangling restaurant. The room was comfortable and there were some good options for breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights and during that time there was no room service, but when we asked, we received toilet paper, water and fresh towels. Free pick up from the airport is a great bonus."
