"Good home cooked food. The tents were comfortable and the bucket shower, to my surprise, was quite adequate. Our guide was knowledgeable and we both were pleased that we were persuaded to do the walks. This is a wonderful place to stay in a superb landscape. Good game viewing as well."

"The location and the concept of glamping in Namibia in a beautiful part of the country. Friendly staff and the owner who shares stories during breakfast / lunch / dinner. The meals were really really tasty; everyone eats at the same time and at the same table which makes that you connect with fellow travelers."

"We spent a blissful 3 nights at Etendeka Mountain Camp. The camps location is stunning , the tented rooming perfect . Watching the sun rise from the comfort of a cosy bed through our open tent entrance was amazing. The bucket shower , taken under a star filled sky , most memorable. The staff at Etendeka Mountain Camp were so friendly. The food yummy . The star gazing evening was most informative as were the local hikes guided by Glacius that we enjoyed during our stay at the camp . In addition it was lovely chatting informatively with other guests during the evenings."

"1) The food accomodation: the big table is idyllic in theory. In practice however (superficial) chats are a bit forced upon the guests. This is not for everyone. For this price we might have liked a bit more of a private setting. 2) The activities felt a bit scolastic. We would have enjoyed a more challenging hike. Again - for the money spend - more personalized activities would make this place even more amazing!"

"Everything! This place is utterly spectacular. It is managed so well with wonderful staff. The tents were well appointed and comfortable (and hot water bottles on cold nights a thoughtful touch), the outdoor bathroom clean and well functioning, guides were so knowledgeable and friendly, the food was delicious (and we appreciated the adaptation for our dietary needs), serving staff so lovely and the evening fire and company was just perfect. If you are looking for a stunning, very rural, well managed and friendly place to visit to just be out in vast nature then this is it."
