"Ambience in tropic paradise, kind staff, Delicious breakfast and dinner. Perfectly organised trip with great guide Jonathan ( thank you Jonathan for little school of botanics) free shutlle to airport, and above all, very kind and capable manager of Lakana hotel. She was so kind and solve all our problrms and wishes immediatly. It was a pleasure to be Lakana hotel guest."

"Lakana hotel is one of the best choice you can choose on Sainte-Marie island. Location is beautiful. You can reserve bungalow on the tilt or in the garden (I had). The beach is cleaned everyday. The food is mostly local with a lot of fruits and it is very delicious. Bungalows are cozy and clean. Madam Rova (manager) is simply fantastic. She solved all my troubles with a transfer back to the mainland. Thanks again to all Lakana team. The only bad think is that one day you must leave, but I’ll be back soon :-) Tomas."

"Amazing hotel with beautiful gardens, amazing landscape and very tasty breakfast and dinner. All the staff, from the very helpful and kind hotel manager Mrs. Rova to Charlene our restaurant host and the owners, were very warm hearted and attentive. We would go back again without second thought!!"

"Beautiful resort near the seaport (15 min) and airport (15 min). They arrange hotel airport transfer. Hotel is so nice, great restaurant, bar and the water bungalows are perfect for honeymoon. Some of them are under reconstruction. It is an oasis of calm. Staff is kind and helpful. Receptionist and her boss speak very well English (as we dont speak French). Food is delicious and looks pretty. They help you with everything you need (for example bicycle rent). We enjoyed our stay and can recommend. Note: The boat arrives on the island only once per day."

"Ein feines Appartement mit allem, was für einen Kurzaufenthalt gebraucht wird. Um das Bett herum ist es etwas eng. Leider liegt es etwas abseits in einer dunklen Seitenstrasse, so dass immer ein Tuc-tuc benötigt wird, welches der Guardian gern besorgte. Sehr schön auch die Zusatzeinrichtungen für Gehandikapte."
