"Perhaps we didn’t research thoroughly enough but we hadn’t realised the walk to the guesthouse was quite steep and rocky. Quite tricky to negotiate- especially with luggage. Cars cannot go directly to the property. Luckily we had a backpack. A large wheely suitcase would have been very difficult to carry."

"We had a fantastic stay at Dar Amadine in Imlil. This homestay is beautifully located with stunning views of the mountains and valley. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there is also a roof top terrace and kitchen and Abdou, the owner, with his daughters were incredibly kind and hospitable. Abdou is a certified mountain guide and he helped us organize our Toubkal circuit trek with a muleteer and a mule. If you’re visiting Imlil, planning a trek in the High Atlas or simply looking for a peaceful, authentic Berber experience with warm hospitality and breathtaking scenery, we highly recommend staying at Dar Amadine with Abdou."

"The guest house is located in the upper part of Imlil, on the path to Toubkal. When you arrive in the village, call Mr. Abdou there is a parking quite close to the riad, don't need to walk from Imlil. We've got some great moments with the owner's family. The tajine at the dinner and the breakfast served on the tarrace with the direct view to the Toubkal were also superb. Highly recommended!"

"Our bedroom was next to a common space where some people were loudly talking later into the evening but after we spoke with them it was peaceful and quiet."

"the room was "advertised" as 50 m²... in fact, I think it would be more like 10 m².(I should have looked better at the picture).. so not the best expectation management is not great but in the end, it didn't matter too much as we had exceptional weather and spent most our time outdoors!"

"Dar Amadine is run by a lovely family that is always there to help you. The father is a tour guide and knows every small corner of the Atlas Mountains and also of Morocco in general. We got sick and that gave us a very hard time although the family was there, looked after us, and even went to the pharmecy to get medication for us. It was an amazing experience and we are greatly thankful for them."
