Highlights included an evening BBQ and memorable conversations around the roaring fireplace in the living room. The beautifully manicured private garden, where we were served a delightful high tea, added to the charm of the experience. The location is also very convenient. "A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was large, clean, and well equipped, and the dressing gown was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a deeply relaxing Balinese massage and appreciated the small but practical gym, especially the treadmill. I also enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee — both by the pool and in the garden. Great location close to town, attractions, and food outlets. I would definitely come back."

"We arrived very late in the evening, but check-in was no problem, they waited for us. The rooms were clean, the water was hot, comfortable beds, a terrace and air conditioning - what more could you ask for. In the morning, an amazing buffet breakfast with a wide selection of food, coffee, tea and juices. The view from the room, or from the restaurant of elephants bathing in the river is an unforgettable experience. We stayed longer and had a swim in the pool after breakfast with a beer and a view of the elephants in the river. An absolutely amazing place above the river."
