"the location was excellent. the palace was wonderful, old fashion. the staff was very nice."

"The room was clean and tidy, the location was only 10 minutes walking from the station, nearby market had everything you could need, also a supermarket 5 mins walk away. We could also walk to the harbour in Genoa, through beautiful piazzas. We took a short train ride to Sturla, then walked to Spiaggia di Vernazzola, which was a beautiful beach with swimming. Also easy to do a trip to Portofino and back while staying at Hotel Suisse. We arrived later than planned but the lovely friendly lady stayed to welcome us and to check in. It felt safe and secure. Communication was good! Shared bathroom was not a problem, it was always clean and not busy. Great value for money, thank you for a good stay in Genoa!"

"It is near the center and very clean, the staff knows not a lot of English but everything was alright! She was very nice! If someone is thinking about this place and does not know if it is worth it because if shared bathroom, it was so clean and smelled so nice. Very well kept!"

"A great location in Genoa and room 7 had a balcony overlooking the rear. We arrived early and the lady on reception was lovely allowing us to access the room before check in as it was ready earlier than we expected. There’s a communal lounge to enjoy too with a vending machine. Perfect for our one night stay in Genoa."

"Everything was perfect, the lady on the reception was a star, such an amazing person, so helpful, she helps us with an iron, to call a taxi, always lovely. Also the location couldn't be better. Close to the train station and the centre at the same time."
