Overlooking the natural pools of Ponza, Resort Ortensia is set on a hill and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. It features a panoramic terrace and offers rooms with air conditioning. Rooms are decorated in a classic style with wooden furniture, wrought-iron beds and cool tiled floors. They provide a TV, a fridge and a bathroom with shower. Every morning, the Ortensia serves a typical Italian breakfast buffet with hot drinks and pastry. The jedilnica offers traditional dishes from the island, and caters gluten free menus on request. The nastanitev’s panoramic terrace is an ideal place to relax and enjoy views of the afternoon sunsets. The property helps guests with renting parasols and sun loungers on the beach.

"The personnel was exceptionally attentive, kind, caring and friendly. It has a wonderful view from a high vantage point with a pleasant sea breeze. As well traveled visitors we can say that il Restorante di Ivan Alteiri deserves special praise. It's menu is well priced, mainly fish based. One can also order fish caught one the same day at a reasonable price. The food is of a high standard. Ivan makes you feel like an old friend visiting again deserving spesiaal treatment and it was sad to say goodbye. The bus stop is very close to the hotel as are other pizzerias and mini markets. The boat trip around the island is an exceptional experience visiting beautiful grottos and highly recommend."

"Tutto!!!! La posizione è fantastica, hotel gode di una vista mozzafiato. E’ ben collegato dai bus navetta, che consiglio perché attivi 24h su 24. Lo staff e’ gentilissimo, Lucia è stata amorevole ma soprattutto super efficiente per ogni tipo di richiesta e i suoi suggerimenti sono stati sempre azzeccati. La vera differenza di questo hotel è proprio la cordialità del personale e la pulizia: impeccabili!!!!"

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

"The decor was out of this world! Absolutely stunning place to stay, very luxurious at a great price. The particular suite we stayed had a fantastic jacuzzi bathtub which was a highlight. Also the reviews don't lie, the breakfast is quite the feast!"

"Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e professionalità alla reception. Il Signor Piero è molto simpatico e professionale, ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre richieste. Si mangia benissimo grazie allo cheff. La cena è stata squisita e al mattino abbiamo trovato un'ottima e abbondante colazione. C'è anche la possibilità di avere la colazione salata. I dolci sono preparati dallo cheff e abbiamo anche assaggiato il suo panettone artigianale. La stanza era calda ed accogliente. Infine abbiamo potuto soggiornare tranquillamente con la nostra cagnolina."
