"We really enjoyed our stay. The facilities are very nice, with a large kitchen for cooking. There are also two bathrooms, each with a shower. We felt very comfortable and even saw the Northern Lights in the evening. The hosts are very friendly. They even allowed us to stay in the common area after the official check-out because we couldn’t leave earlier."

"Everything was clean and modern, the staff even had some stuff for breakfast and you could see the northern lights through your bedroom thanks to the huge windows. We could also charge our hybrid car."

"Perfectly located accommodation with a stunning view of the fjord – we even saw whales! There are horses nearby, and the village is quiet and peaceful. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were comfortable with direct access to the terrace."

"Cottage is located just a 10 minute drive from the airport and Akureyri centre. Fantastic views from the cottage. Absolutely loved the hot tub. Easy to use and lovely and warm. Cottage is well equipped and felt very homely. Absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return in the future. Great spot to see the Aurora as away from the city lights. Could have stayed a lot longer than a week."

"Loved everything about it! So cute and cozy, an incredible view and lovely warm cottage. The shared kitchen was super helpful and also so beautiful, eating breakfast looking at the mountain is stunning! Our only mistake was that we thought the freezer in the kitchen was a fridge and some of our food froze… which wasn’t an issue, luckily the beer cans didn’t explode 😅"

"Located in the "middle of nowhere", it is a haven for the people who travel from Reykjavik to Akureiri. We were on a road trip on a snowy and freezing day, and we were so happy, arriving at night, to find light, warmth and a very friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant waited for us to arrive and even if it was quite late, prepared a good and warm dinner. We could have a very relaxing night here and were ready to continue our drive after a good night's sleep."

"Location was perfect 5 mins to the main Street with food and shops, 5mins to Hallgrimskirkja church and 15min to Bus terminal. 36 mins to the Lava Show which was the furthest the we had to walk to do sightseeing. Apartment was small but very cosy, perfectly fine for family of 4. Everything we needed was available in the apartment."
