"I really liked the interior design and the staff at the front desk. Wifi was working great. Location is close to lots of restaurants and the park by the ocean."

My room had a really small window at 2 m hight so the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Also there was a construction site right next to the building which made quite some noise.

"Hostel je na super lokaciji, blizu parkov in metroja. Privat soba je velika, postelja udobna, čista, dobra kopalnica, osebje zelo prijazno. Zjutraj so mi ponudili domače pecivo, ker sem odhajala pred zajtrkom. Kuhinja je ves čas na razpolago in je dobro opremljena."

Lack of privacy in shared bedroom but that was okay. I could live with that.

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "Handy to bus stops and restaurants and s great bake/bread shop in front. The security is super and the people running it really nice. I like that they have soft towels and a bath mat in each room. All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

Clean and comfortable

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

"The hostel was run by a really lovely woman and her daughter who were so kind and friendly - they made our stay. The hostel was relaxed and had a good kitchen and areas to relax. The rooms are simple but comfortable."
