Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

"Zajtrk je sicer res bolj osnoven, a za ta denar, več kot odličen! Sobe so majhne, naša je bila meni zelo simpatična, z balkonom, soba prijateljev pa zelo majhna. Čudoviti razgledi, dober vajb, super lokacija (a ne za družine z otroki - z vozičkom ne moreš priti do Kalemegdana, če bi bili sami, bi verjetno lahko peš prišli do mesta). Osebje je prijazno, všeč mi je ta balkanski vajb, take it easy (upam, da to obdržite čim dlje), ne dajte se. ;) Skratka v skupini, sem jaz bila navdušena nad nastanitvijo, mož je rekel, da ga je edino motila majhna soba, prijateljici pa nezadovoljni z velikostjo sobe. Sicer je res - ne vem kako bi bilo z varnostjo, če bi bilo neurje... a ker je bilo vse ok, damo zelo dobro oceno."

"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

"Great location, not far from the centre. Nice breakfast and a great view from the dining area. The rooms are clean."

You need to be careful at the lower bunk - not much space between the bunks, everyone hits their head at least once.

"I was astonished with rooms' comfort. They were perfect for me. And parking area by my room was a real perfection."

"Everything’s was clean and staff was super friendly. I love that there is a sink and fridge in the room and slippers. they give you new towels everyday. Room is perfect for 1 person & to open 1 small 1 big suitcase. Unfortunately I couldn’t extend because it was fully booked."

"Great location although currently some construction happening across the road. The double bed attic rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The common areas and pool are also great to use 24 hours."

"The hotel was recommended to me by a couple I met travelling and they weren't wrong, Everything was so great about the hotel that I extended my stay by 2 days, The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and different every morning, The manager even gave me a ride to the bus stop to catch the bus for san salvador, It was great value for money, I will definitely stay there again,"

"Fantastic location. I had a private room and bathroom. Fantastic. Quiet, helpful staff and a great location. Loved it. Super close to walking up the hill for a great view over the city and close to all key sites in the old city. Inexpensive and good value. I didn't eat breakfast there as there is a wonderful garden cafe 1 min walk in the same street which is lovely for good coffee and food."

Hot water was a little temperamental and loo leaked.

"A wonderful hotel that makes you sleep with peace of mind. A warm reception and a smile on their faces. The breakfast is good. The place is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it to you. The room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV that only has Tunisian channels. There are no movie channels. This is the point.I don't like it. I want all the channels on the TV. Wi-Fi in every room. Good. The security guard is cheerful. Thank you."

I just didn't like the breakfast. I don't want eggs with onions. Everyone is free to eat what they want.

"I loved the northern 12 day tour and the Gobi and hot springs 12 day tour. Both took me to beautiful locations. If you don't mind not showering for a few days but getting to more remote locations and meeting the local nomadic people- these tours are for you. I travelled with two other tourists, plus our English speaking guide and driver. My guide Riya was so cheerful and thoughtful, and a wonderful cook. She cared for us, like we were cherished family. The driver navigated hours of driving across the steppe with no assistance from Google, he just knows the countryside- incredibly skilled. I will be recommending Sunpath to anyone I meet who is going to Mongolia. Thank you Sunpath team, and Doljmaa you are an incredible business woman, so organised and thoughtful."

"V hostlu imajo vse, kar sem potrebovala za mojih 7 dni tukaj (udobno posteljo, hladilnik, kuhinjo, pralni stroj in brezplačno brisačo). Osebje je zelo prijazno, vzdušje sproščeno in ker je v tem hostlu precej samostojnih popotnikov, je tukaj tudi zelo enostavno najti nove prijatelje za izlete v hribe."

Edina stvar, ki sem jo pogrešala, je možnost izposoje ključavnice za omarico v sobi.

"Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !

No curtains on the bed. I also was charged twice for my stay here a long time after I left which was disappointing to see but I did get refunded.
