"Bed was small, but bed and pillows very comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Gave us a kettle for our room, with plenty of tea. Water cooler in the foyer was handy. Kept very clean. Metro station and laundromat 2 minutes walk."
"Tiny room, but I think that is typical in Paris. But shower was teeny tiny...water pressure and heat good, though. Limited breakfast selection for 12 Euros...could use some door/wall hooks for coats/clothes. Location a little far from main 'tourist' attractions, so close Metro was invaluable."

"The hotel was in a fabulous location. Excellent for exploring the local area on foot, close to a small park and some great bars and restaurants. It is also only a minute away from one Metro station and a short walk to a couple of others. The hotel staff were welcoming and it appeared very clean and efficiently run."

"I liked Verlain a lot - position was awesome, staff was friendly and the place was clean and overall pretty. I would go back there!"
"If I had to pick a negative thing, the room had two small beds next to each other instead of a queen-sized bed; moreover, when we asked about a taxi for the airport, we were at the reception that it would cost 45-50 euros, while it ended up costing about 70. It was a small misunderstanding and might have been responsibility of the taxi driver though. Overall, as I said, it was a great stay!"

"Great hotel in a very quiet valley. Easy to find but don’t follow your satnav unless you want to drive on some very narrow roads - instead take the D57 south form Remiremont. There is ample free car parking available. The staff are excellent and speak very good English. The rooms are very large, clean, very quiet, comfortable and well appointed, although a little tired but it wouldn’t stop us staying again. The restaurant menu was limited to just 2 main dishes and our visit, however the food was excellent and very well priced."

"A very convenient hotel for independent travelers. Excellent location, just 6 minutes from one metro line and 17 minutes from another. The room is very clean and has everything you need for a restful sleep and personal hygiene. The staff is very nice and friendly."

"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I travel a lot for business and this is the first hotel I have stayed in where i was shown to my room in person, was a nice touch. The room, as you enter, the first thing that hit me was the bed, so big it has different time zones on each side. Could have slept 4 or 5 in that thing. Instead it was just me in the middle. The hotel is in a small town, out in the countryside and was very quiet. There is some building work going on there but it wasn't loud. It has a nice garden and small piece of woodland to walk. The restaurant has some outdoor seating for the summer, shame i went in January really."
