"On arrival the staff were very welcoming and patient with our lack of French and helped us with directions to Lille and things to do in the surrounding area. The room was clean and everything worked a treat. Breakfast was great and 9.50€ is a good price for a buffet style with bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and cereals amongst other food."

"Nice friendly welcome. No fuss check in. Allowed me to check in early and out 11:39am following morning. Plenty of free parking. Comfortable room with bathtub TV and big bed at reasonable price in central town location. Lots of towels and free shampoo and soap provided."
"Street outside bit noisy. TV channels all French. Could do with a few more especially as the stations are available on the cable network but obviously not subscribed to as they don't come in on the TV in room. Room very basic, and a bit dated but comfortable for a one night rest up which is what I needed."

"Lovely Hotel, run by a charming couple, who seem very conscientious hoteliers, certainly exceeded our expectations of a 2* hotel. we were on bikes and the owner allowed us to park them in the garage with her precious Audi soft-top. Delicious copious breakfast supervised by Herve the Co-owner, all very clean and nicely presented, decor in main areas quite colourful and funky. Coded Locked gates and doors at night easy to manage. Easy access to town."
"Bathrooms were clean and tidy and functional if a little tired. Road noise from street side room inevitable but manageable. Bedroom window security?…..either fully open or tight closed, no secure vent option."

"The hosts could not if been more charming and helpful, Sadly i had to be near the hospital for treatment in Challons. Being on my own with no-one to support me felt quite lonely. The hosts at the hotel soon made me feel at home and could not of been kinder."

"Great, helpful staff. Good location, market nearby on Sunday morning was nice and posed no noise problems for us. Clean rooms and bedding, good shower with plenty of hot water. Paid extra for bread, which was very good value, quality and nicely presented in a pleasant dining room We will definitely be using this hotel the next time we're in Lille. Highly recommended."
