Le Prieuré is set in a former monastery in Saint-Dalmas-de-Tende at the edge of Mercantour National Park. Guests are invited to use the free Wi-Fi throughout the property, relax on the terrace or enjoy a drink at the bar. A flat-screen TV with cable channels and a telephone are provided in all of the guest rooms at Le Prieuré. They each include an en suite bathroom fitted with a bath or a shower. Regional cuisine and local specialities are proposed in the on-site bistro and a continental breakfast is served daily. Barbecue nights for groups can be organised in the garden upon request. Free on-site parkirni avtomati is available and Saint-Dalmas-de-Tende Train Station is 500 metres away. The property is a 15-minute drive from the Italian border and 40 km from Ventimiglia.

"Beautiful location and an unusual place to stay which will stand out in your memory. I found the atmosphere and decor down-to earth in a nice way, saying that the rooms are lovely; very well appointed, clean and well cared for. The views are stunnning and it is pleasant to fall asleep to the sound of the river. The dinner was very good and the service a delight. There is also a shop, and a vending machiine sellling snacks and drinks (including beer and wine), in a room where one can sit if eating between restaurant times. Also a few nice garden areas scattered around the old monastic building. A great base to explore the surrounding area, and exelllent value for money."

"Rooms were símple and functional- in the style of the former priory? No air con but rooms were naturally cool. Easy access to the mountains by summer shuttle bus which took us up to casterino for beautiful walks. Also nice walk to La Brigue from hotel."

"The location was perfect - 15 mins from the festival venue (La Chaise-Dieu). Breakfast, brought to our terrace table by the host, was excellent. The Yourt was ideal for us as a couple and was extremely good value for overnight stays. Free off-road parking on the spot."
