Le jardin

"The apartment is spacious, pretty, and naturally reasonably cool in really hot weather. It is also a "real" place: clearly inhabited by the owners at other times. We found this charming, much less anonymous than apartments that people buy only to rent them out short term. The location is ideal: a very quiet street, literally only 2 minutes to walk to the historical core of the city (which is much noisier). We met the hosts because we arrived early, and they very kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage before we checked in officially."

"While the apartment had been cleaned well, there were a number of small broken items: the flie nets on the windows cannot be attached (so they zoom up again), the garden furniture was filthy, the kitchen had no salt. One other issue was that the arrival instruction contained only the street name, but no house number (and the emailed instructions did not either, they only contained the code for the front door and the key box). We tried several times to call the hosts to find out where to go, but they never answered the phone. In the end, we found the right house by checking all houses in the street that had a key pad to enter."

"Nos sorprendió el hall, no hay, todo son escaleras arriba y abajo. Los tres dormitorios están a diferentes alturas. Tenía mal anotada la dirección, era el número 12 de Rue de Guerreros, no el 21. No dispone de parking, el parking Pasteur está muy próximo. Almohadas muy finas La limpieza es mejorable. No conocimos al propietario, solo mensajes por Booking y consultando el wifi por WhatsApp. Estaría bien unas instrucciones de estancia sobre basuras, comercios/bares recomendados próximos, atracciones, planos etc."
