"Nice apartment on the first floor, owners live downstairs (friendly and helpful). Between the house and the beach in front of it is a well-used road. Guess it can get busy in summer. The town of Douarnenez suprised us, especially its social history. La Maison de la Sardine informs you more about that."

"Excellent accueil, appartement très propre et très confortable, bien équipé dans son ensemble. La vue depuis le salon sur la plage du Ris et la baie de Douarnenez est splendide ! Nos hôtes, Nathalie et Frédéric, sont très sympathiques et nous ont bien conseillés sur les visites à faire dans la région. Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances agréables avec du soleil au rendez-vous du début à la fin."

"Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den herzlichen Empfang! Aber auch sonst war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Es war eigentlich alles da, außer ein normalgroßer Backofen. Der war sehr klein. Alles war sauber."
"Une belle petite maison au centre ville. Tout de suite proche d une belle plage , du moulin , d'un magnifique spectacle d oiseaux et un superbe soleil. La maison a son petit jardin protégé, une belle table a manger et un vrai canapé. Tout est bien équipé et la rue est calme. Un spar très sympa avec tout le necessaire , une crêperie très bonne avec des spécialités très bonnes, un restaurant avec des pizzas à emporter. Une île pleine de vie."

"Stunning location facing the sea a stone's throw from the beach with views across the bay to Douarnenez. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Included was a delicious continental breakfast with home-made cake and pastries. We particularly liked that our accommodation included a private sitting room with TV and fridge."

"I chose this gite because it is all on the ground floor - no stairs - which was very good for my elderly mum. The nice bedrooms and the number of beds was also very convenient for our party. Furthermore, it is not too far from the places we wanted to visit."

"DOMAINE MARY'S is a wonderful place. The appartment "Gite Mathilde" is beautiful. The kids loved it so much. The pool, the garden with loads of space to play soccer, badminton. A pool table, table soccer and a table tennis table are are free to use as well. There´s lots to do in the area! Caves, caves, the canyon, canoeing, adventure parks, historic cities and villages. All in all it is a perfect starting point to explore southern France for one or even two weeks. We met a lot of friendly people."
