Gîte AUDREY

"Very nice decoration of the common areas and bedroom and baths."

"'Le refuge du bonheur' is a pleasant, spacious place to stay in Bitche. The location was recently renovated (June 2023) and has a cosy atmosphere. The living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are very neat and offer a lot of comfort (even an electric oven in addition to a microwave). For the little guests there is also a changing table, cot, large toy box and children’s books. Thanks to electronic contact, we received all the necessary information in a timely manner. The young, friendly owners of 'Le refuge du bonheur' who live opposite the accommodation, gave us a warm welcome, as did their sweet, big black dog 😉. The residence is located just on the edge of Bitche, making it very quiet to sleep at night. Moreover, you can park your car within the fence and the location offers many opportunities to explore the region. 'Le refuge du bonheur' is definitely a good place to stay for several days."

"My husband suffers from reduced mobility and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel is lovely, well-decorated, clean and pleasant. The breakfast included a variety of dishes; amazing for the price."

"Tons of character . Just behind Utah beach so for someone who is on the trip to visit D day beaches is ideal"

"Overall, the experience was good, and we had a pleasant stay. We love how quiet and safe the building was, very close to the beach! We would consider coming back!"
