"this hotel was ideally located for us as a half way point between Paris and the Dordogne, the room was extremely large with 2 large bedrooms, a large bathroom and separate toilet. The lady on duty when we arrived was really helpful, we had broken down and left all our belonging in our car so asked about a shop nearby for a toothbrush and toothpaste, the lady went and got some new toothbrushes and toothpaste and bought them to the restaurant for us when we were having dinner, way above and beyond. The restaurant was very good, food tasty and excellent cocktails. Continental breakfast was really good too. A very pleasant, unexpected stay at this lovely hotel, would certainly recommend. Also less than a 10 minute walk to the station and centre of town."

"Lovely hotel, we had a big family suite. Beds were comfy, it was quiet, off road parking. Food in hotel looked lovely but plenty bars/restaurants nearby."

"No air conditioning. We had a fan which was made it bearable at night but it would be no good July and August."

"Great location travelling from Calais to The Dordogne, just off the main A road. Private enclosed parking and lovely garden under trees for dinner (although our chicken with port dish v disappointing. Dried out and no sauce sadly but rest of dinner was good) . Got a broken leg so there was accessibility/ramp to get in but no lift so came down stairs on my bottom lol Family room v large with 2 bedrooms large bathroom/no stand up shower and private balcony (v hot that day at 37 deg so welcome by late evening for a breeze) also used the fans they provided for sleeping. All in all nice place. Good value for money and restaurant popular with locals too."

"The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was OK - the croissants were the best we had had during our holiday! The staff were very friendly."

"The garden was a disappointment. It could have been so much better but it was unkempt with long grass and dog poo in one corner. There were chairs to sit on but they had no cushions and were dirty. The main disappointment though was that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday which we were not aware of. As we had dogs we had trouble finding a dog friendly restaurant at short notice. There is a list of other restaurants locally but we didn't know if they were dog friendly or not."

"This hotel is a little gem in terms of accommodation - very central, yet with secure off-street parking and a pleasant garden. We had asked for a disabled room on the ground floor and were very impressed with this - a spacious room and superb bathroom properly designed for the disabled with shower seat and plenty of grab-rails. Staff were cheerful and helpful."

"What a find, lovely stop over on our way south. great location, friendly welcoming staff, beautiful clean and comfortable room, secure off road parking, short walk into town, great breakfast We have stayed in Vierson many times, but this hotel will be top of our list next time. Perfect."
