"Not easy to check in, but a minor issue. The owners live next door and nobody was there when we arrived. It might be good to provide information about how to check in at the front door. We ended up finding a key and seeing which door it fitted."

"Operated like a B&B with a few rooms but a sitting/dining area so most time you see nobody but can enjoy the facilities in peace nevertheless. Owners live next door. Minor issue we encountered was relayed to the son of owner through WhatsApp and the whole family came rushing to solve it for us, taking things to their heart. We enjoyed the calm, the beautiful view from the pool and all the esthetic furnishings chosen. Housekeeping very well done. Also very reasonably priced as it is not in Corte. I would advise staying here but commute to Corte (15 min drive) for sightseeing and more restaurant choices. This is one of our favorites in our one-month road trip in Corsica."

"Newly renovated house into lovely chambres d’hôtes ! Very clean and decorated with taste 😊 The best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner: we arrived by bikes and unfortunately the cook was sick. Since the closest open restaurant is 1km away and that is was raining (and we were exhausted from a full day biking) the owner kindly offered to drive us back and forth to the restaurant in Venaco for diner. Even made a reservation for us! The bikes were safely kept and we had a lovely evening. We had to leave early the next morning, we were very sad to miss the breakfast, as the room looked lovely. But again great recommendation to stop at the cafe on the way out. Thank you and if we’re around we’ll definitely come back here!"

"As the place is so small there aren't staff available all the time, just at breakfast and then in the evening at dinner. So when we arrived in the afternoon to check in, the place was empty and we had to call via booking.com. This wasn't a problem as someone came straight away. But each day after, when other guests arrived we had to tell them to call. A simple sign on the door or on the bar saying "welcome, if you're checking in just call this number and someone will come, have a drink while you wait" would make this place perfect."

"The property was really well equipped, with heating, washing machine and dryer. With a 4-month baby, these were essentials. The village is very small and quiet, pretty to walk around and 15 min drive from La Clusaz. We went in spring for Easter just to relax. The flat is spacious and very well equipped and practical. It was clean and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again. Communication to get the keys from the lock and info was easy too."

"The location. We were 50m from the main road which was closed to traffic for the 4 day festival. Spacious apartment with separate bedroom. Nimes is a lovely town to visit with plenty to see including the old roman arena. We even got to see the last 10 mins of a bull fight."

"The hosts, well where do I start, these guys are fantastic, we do not speak french very well but made to feel at home and they even translated other to other guests with us. The room was superb and the meals were extremely tasty. Off the beaten track but I would recommend to any English travellers as well as French nationals. The pool was as lovely as was the bar area. The evening meal was a multi cultural all sit down together thing which initially I thought would odd. But strangely works. Sebastian speaksfluent fringlish which really helped our 9 yr old and us as well. A real family vibe to the venue."

"Really lovely property and everything was as described. We were on a motoring holiday and found parking right outside. This is a city break type of escape and was within 20 minutes walk from the cathedral. Loved the jacuzzi and outdoor courtyard."

"I loved the warm welcome given by Maguy and Pascal; their place is wonderfully homespun, though it always feels well-equipped. The water pressure in the show was great, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Maguy was very flexible in asking what time I would like to have breakfast. A highlight was the massage I received, extremely reasonably priced and relaxing."
