Between Bayeux and Caen this butični hotel is 6 km from the WWII Normandy landing beaches and 6 minutes’ drive from Creully Castle, the BBC’s WWII communications hub. Set in a 1-hectare garden, it offers a terrace and TV lounge. The Château comprises two buildings, a second being the adjacent Villa Mathilde with its own courtyard setting. "Beautiful building with an interesting history, particularly the theme regarding the liberation of France of WW11. The busiest g is showing signs of being tired, but the experience of the stay far outweighed the condition. Lovely continental breakfast."

"Having booked the accommodation to escape a night camping in the pouring rain, the Chateau Baffey was exactly what we needed. The staff were very accommodation considering we were soaking and had somewhere to put our bikes. The bar was comfortable and breakfast was a good continental spread. The room was large enough to fit all four of us."

"The swimming pool was lovely and warm. The children loved visiting the donkeys and horses. The food was good! The children spent lots of time playing ping pong, table football and pool when it was raining."
"Navdušil naju je zelo prijazen sprejem lastnice, ki je bila pripravljena deliti z nama informacije o Korziki in bližnji okolici. Všeč nama je bila velika soba, možnost uporabe hladilnika, zajtrk in prijetna, senčna terasa. Najbolj pa bi pohvalila lastnico, ki se nama je v celoti posvetila. Še enkrat bi rezervirala to bivanje, saj so v bližini čudovite plaže in tudi Bonifacio ni daleč."

"The ground floor villa was extremely clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. It was very well equipped, and there was plenty of outdoor space, with the choice of 3 separate areas. Parking was off road at the villa. However when we were there, there were quite a few mosquitos. Dominique, the host, was very helpful and friendly. The villa was about a 10 min walk from the centre so ideally situated and a great market on a Tuesday."
