"We had a lovely time in this very pleasant house that was just right for us. From the house, we could easily walk to many museums and churches and restaurants in Caen. That made our stay so lovely and rewarding. We also managed to visit the battlefields that we wanted to. The house is well provisioned and very comfortable. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside. Plenty of hot water and all the modern conveniences such as a coffee machine. There is a supermarket and as well boulangerie / patisserie very near to the house, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The museums and memorials were exceptional and have really brought home the reality of war, the casualties of both civilians and soldiers. Altogether I have no hesitation in recommending this house."
"The house has everything you might need and more. It is located in a quiet neighborhood but 5 minutes walk from the centre village. It is comfortable and spacious. The host is helpful with tips and information of places to visit around."

"This is a wonderful house where, despite some inconveniences that may be remedied easily, we would definitely come back again and again. It is quiet, nicely decorated, spacious, luminous, with a very spacious living room, with lots of common shared spaces, open kitchen with absolutely everything one can think of (cuttlery, dishes, pots, etc) including a dishwasher. The large terraces offer space for sunbaths, grill making, landscape viewing - these are a big plus of the house. There are two bathrooms, one in the ground floor, one in the upper floor, which is a converted attic, which gives a high degree of intimacy for two couples travelling together/sharing the house. The parking lot offer space for two cars. The house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, 10-15 min away, by car, from the center of Alberville."
