Au Père Tranquille

"Such friendly people who own/run it. I will stay there again gladly if I need to be in the region. The food was good, and the plat du jour very reasonably priced and good. They were even happy to make me a larger version of one of the à la carte starters as my single course meal one evening. And they didn't try to speak English which I really appreciated as I am learning French and need all the practice I can get!"

"Self service breakfast consisted of a bag of two pastries, and coffee pods which I do not prefer. So I would probably not pay for the breakfast next time I stayed - local bakeries a couple of minutes walk away with pastries at 1,20 euros each. Take your own coffee bags or a cafetiere and use the kettle provided in your room."

"Good location for our cycle tour of Normandy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was perfect and quiet. Facilities at the hotel where adequate for needs"

"One room was rather hot and a fan would have help to keep it cool, plus there was music outside this (3) which impacted the person in the room. MY room (2) was perfect"

"The location, for our needs was excellent. All staff were very friendly. A lovely breakfast in an immaculately clean & comfortable dining room."

"Escaliers qui craque et voitures rentrant dans la cour faisant du bruit (surement a cause des graviers)"

"J'ai apprécié la gentillesse du gérant de l'établissement Le dîner était bon et copieux. Le parking bien situe derrière l'établissement. La chambre était très propre."

"Le bruit de la rue très tôt le matin (camions...)"
