"Although the cistercienne nuns departed some years ago, the establishment retains a spiritual atmosphere. The accommodation is like a retreat house, simple but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh and generous, good value for 7 euros."

"We were a group of 9 English motorcyclists when, on arrival, were made most welcome. We knew the Abbey was basic accommodation but it was very clean, good showers and free WiFi. The beer from the Abbey was excellent. We will return,."

"C'est la 2ème fois que je viens dans cet établissement, j'y apprécie le calme, le cadre et les chambres possèdent ce dont j'ai besoin: un lit confortable, un sanitaire et une douche. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et l'accueil de la bénévole est parfait. Si vous aimez la déconnexion (on se rassure, y a quand même le wifi), c'est le lieu idéal !"

"So French and the gardens were stunning. like a national trust! the pool was new and very nice. breakfast was a great continental spread. the beds were comfy and it was quiet. the lake was beautiful and the owners were friendly with good English. nearby Vierzon was 15 minute drive and had a lovely canal with restaurants and shops."
