"What a nice and truly comfortable guest house! So pleasant rooms, good bathrooms, so utmost clean everywhere, wifi excellent, elevators working and incredibly wonderful personnel. All these extremely kind and helpful ladies in the reception, (Selam, Dina, Tigest, Yabsira) and the great, "allrounder" fellows, Alex and Sami are making your stay unforgettable and just cozy. Hammer is a place, where I would absolutely return, but would ask a room in the quiet side next time."

"If you enjoy homestays, this is the perfect place. The house is very cosy and the hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind, they even checked on us after we left to make sure our journey went well ! The location is great: we walked back from the rock-hewn churches and it was also very close by car. The area is calm and we felt very safe. One evening, when we had dinner outside, our host even came to pick us up so we wouldn’t walk back alone, a very thoughtful gesture. The food was excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and dinner was honestly one of our best meals in Ethiopia, better than many restaurants. The place was clean, with hot water and reliable WiFi. We truly felt at home and highly recommend this homestay !"
