Viru Backpackers Hostel is a small, friendly place on the bustling main street of Tallinn's old town, just around the corner from the Town Hall. We are a self-check-in Hostel catering to those independent travelers, couples, and families offering cheap private accommodation with an international atmosphere. The prime location means it's easy to reach all of the best cafes, bistros, bars, museums, and galleries and a very short walk away from all the cultural hot spots. If you want to be in the midst of the action of Tallinn, Viru Backpackers Hostel provides clean and svetišče sprostitvecious rooms prepared with linen and a towel. If you are interested in seeing more of Estonia, just ask the friendly staff about the day trips that are organised to the harbour town of Paldiski and to Lahemaa National Park and many more.

"A wonderful quiet hostel with considerate staff and guests. If you are a party animal this probably won't suit you. My small room and single bed were very comfortable. A chair and desk were provided. It was well heated as it was -10 outside. Shared toilet and bathrooms. Two of each for all the rooms. A small kitchen with a microwave, a cooker, and toaster. Enough equipment to make simple meals. A fridge freezer and free food left by other guests. A real bonus was the free tea and coffee. Especially as it was cold. The hostel is very central so you can pop back for a hot drink or snack. Reception/ cleaner is there part time for queries. No shoes inside, slippers provided. There is a very old but functional lift. You can go to floor 4 and walk down a little to the entrance if you are carrying a heavy bag. 🙂"

"I didn’t expect to get a whole room for me. It was so comfortable. I had a really sound sleep. The place was right in the Old Town so it was very convenient to visit places. Furthermore, they give guests free chocolate on arrival as well. That was so cute! I love it!"

"I had a great stay at this hostel. The place was comfortable, and the private rooms with shared bathrooms were quiet and convenient for a few days of rest. The location is excellent — very central and close to everything. The staff were also very helpful. I arrived early and was able to leave my backpack before check-in, and they let me store it again after check-out, which made everything much easier. Overall, a pleasant and convenient experience. I would stay here again."
