"Bivanje v Cabinas Algebra je bilo prijetno. Apartma je prostoren in dobro opremljen, čeprav bi bilo nekaj stvari že primerno obnoviti. Okolica je polna rastlinja in do parkirnega prostora ni dlje kot 10 m. Prav tako je zelo blizu tudi restavracija, ki jo vodita lastnika prenočišča in je na voljo šest dni v tednu. Do najbližje plaže je približno 100 m, do centra Cahuite pa približno 10 min počasne vožnje z avtom."

"We loved the location.(off the noisy tourist area), but about 100m from Playa Grande, we loved the setting: in a wonderful garden with wild animals (we saw a sloth and howler monkeys)! The owners (Andrea and Samuel) were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and warm-hearted, passionate about neture. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. We wish we could go back some day 😊 Thank you. Pura vida! Lucie and Zoltán"

"Breakfast was on order and what I had was really good. Very quiet beach nearby. Lovely garden, almost jungle-like in the corners, nice. Lots of plants and you could see different animals. Mosquito-net provided,, good! but not many mosquitoes anyways. Terrace with hammock, very enjoyable. Good people running the place."
"Room was basic and old, which is ok. Don't expect too much. Quite dark and dull. Easy to hear loud room-neighbors."

"For this price it is a perfect place to stay. Hosts are outstanding friendly, the location is amazing with a lush garden and close to a really nice beach. If a place still (in 2025) has the original (now fairly dirty) posters of how to handle covid on the door of the room, it tells you a lot about the eye for detail..."

"100m from Playa Grande and with a lovely 3km walk to Cahuita National Park past the famous Reggae Bar, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming to me. Meals and accommodation exceeded expectations, and I feel I've made good friends in the short time that I was there."

"Beautiful garden. We saw green macaws and different toekans early in the morning. Food in restaurant is excellent. Good bed and pillows. Spacious. Quiet location. Friendly helpful hosts. Good price."

There are three trails you can walk from Villa Calas - we did them all and all were lovely. Well located for visiting Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfalls which was the highlight of our stay."

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"
