"Vas deluje kot velika družinska skupnost. Ker je bilo preveč mrzlo za zajtrk in večerjo zunaj je lastnik organiziral obroke v bližnjem hotelu, ki ga vodi njegov brat (Tower hotel). Ob večerji so pripravili program z živo glasbo. Pomagali so nama pri organizaciji izletov. V sobi je bilo prijetno toplo. Oprema sobe je preprosta - razvidno iz fotografij."

"Peaceful riverside haven with a shaded terrace and deck opposite the cliffside Lycian tombs, which are lit up at night. The perfect place to relax. Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Our obliging host arranged a trip down stream to the beach on the public boat, which picked us up at our landing. On site parking a bonus."

"Zelo prijazen lastnik, ki naju je lepo sprejel in nama podal vse potrebne informacije o okolici destinacije. Prijetno sva bila presenečena, ker naju je na mizi čakalo pecivo, sadje in steklenica vina. Več si ne moreš želeti. Vse je bilo super in sobo bi izbrala še enkrat."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The breakfast that you get in the morning was tasty and a large portion. 2 cute little dogs running around on the farm. Cows grazing outside your door."

For summer months, a fan would be ideal in the room.

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

For us, it was perfect.

"The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it."

"Prijetno tiho okolje, krasna hiška, vsi dostopni pripomočki za kuhinjo. Izjemno prijazna gostiteljica, še bolj prijazni sosedi. Sosedi so nama zvečer prišli potrkati na vrata, da je zunaj severni sij. Imela sva prekrasen večer s sosedi ob gledanju severnega sija. Zaenkrat najljubše bivanje na celi Islandiji. Preprosto prekrasna izkušnja. Odlična lokacija za opazovanje severnega sija!"

"This is very peaceful independent house. The atmosphere was really good. Owner picked me up and drop me off when I checked in and checked out. It is far away from the town, but local buses are running regularly. Easy to catch them."

The road to the house was not easy to walk when it gets raining. Dry season should be ok though.

"The owners were like family and nothing was a problem. They even drove us to the bus station which was some 12 kilometers away."

It was private away from the centre of Vevchani. It felt very homely. We were there in winter and it was great and in summer it would be even better.

"Peace is the best host we have ever had. Looked after my wife, Daughter and I like we were family. We would turn in a heartbeat. Food was excellent. Peace’s brother even too us to the beach and rafting atm a moments notice"
