"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"

"Loved the cabin! So calm and relaxing. The cabin itself was so rustic, everything you need is there. The beds were so nice and comfortable, they had working netflix so on the cold rainy nights you can simply cuddle and watch some TV. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely lady gave it to us to our cabin in the morning and it was wrapped so nicely in a proper picnic basket! And the range was amazing, even better than hotel buffets. The staff were friendly! The area is very quiet with a short drive to many hiking spots but that's what we were looking for. Loved every second. Thanks again!"

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.

It is not easy to communicate with the owners, English is a bit of a problem... The kitchen space is quite limitated.

The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. "Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.
