The cosy Resort Derby is a quiet place in Fiesch close to the narrow Rhone river, only a 5-minute walk from the centre. It is the perfect place for your hiking, biking or climbing holidays. The Derby prebivališče is located in the wonderful Goms valley in the unique Aletsch area with the longest glacier of Europe (Unesco protection). The Hotelski Kompleks Derby is well known for its balanced breakfast buffet. Half board (dinner) is available as well in cooperation with a neighbouring restavracija. "We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Derby. Our room was large and quiet with comfortable beds (two single beds pushed together). As it says in other reviews, everything is a bit old but everything works and is spotlessly clean and for us that is most important. There was a good selection for breakfast and coffee/tea was available for free during the day. They also sell some other drinks and snacks (self-service). It's convenient that the breakfast room can be used for playing a game (many available) or having a drink in the evening. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the railway station and center of the village where there are shops, restaurants, etc."
