"Despite looking a bit outdated, the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive. It almost looked like renovated in an old style. I really appreciated that the room and the bathroom were so clean and tidy"

"A good place for a short stay if you spend time exploring the area, such as hiking or a short day trip, and use the hotel for bed and breakfast. The price/quality ratio is more than acceptable. "As this property is well known for its pilgrimage it was an unusual stay. We heard a mass in progress, visited the interesting buildings throughout the site and took solace in the peace and quiet."
"There was no television, but because it is a site of pilgrimage we could quite understand that people there for the pilgrimage would want quite contemplation. The only niggle was the lighting in the room and the bathroom was very dull, as a spectacle wearer this can be a problem."
"We arrived late due to delay in Chunnel and contacted hotel to say we would arrive after check in closed. They were very accommodating and even arranged for a local restaurant to stay open for us. Staff and management were most helpful throughout"
