"Everything was perfect, the location, staff, food etc. We had luck and enought snow for ski in and out but you might check with the hotel first. The road up can be challanging, I made it with a Dacia Dokker with snow chains without problems. I have to praise our receptionist Simona, she was very helpful and really professional, long time the best one I met."

"The fitness lock was constantly jammed. And I was not able to keep my fitness routine. (PLS fix that lock). If you travel there in the winter ALWAYS take a snow chains. I failed few times and had to call specialised taxi."

"This really blew my mind - the hotel is set in 2000 m above sea, in the vicinity of various trails and with breathtaking mountain views right from your room windows. The most peaceful experience, highly recommended."

"Everything was perfect: the position sourranded by nature, the food (rich, varied and never boring), the room was clean and spacious, the personnel spoke a very good English (differently from some reviews we read here) and the SPA was nice and relaxing. Directly from the hotel there are several amazing hiking trails perfect both for experienced hikers and for begineers. We will definately come again!"

"Very small details could be improved: 1) I would put up a screen or something to separete the terrace/balcon of one room from the adjacent one (our terrace was shared by three rooms, no problem but it would be nice to have more privacy and it would be very easy to divide the terrace in one section per room) 2) It would be nice to have herbal tea or flawored water in the SPA (a very minor detail)"

"Silbertal was a big surprise for me. Comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine, nice wellness centre with a view of the countryside. And helpful staff. But most importantly, in winter I put on my skis right in front of the hotel, and get to the first lift. And in the afternoon I ski down the private slope directly to the hotel. My secret tip for Soelden, next time only here."

"The access road can be difficult to navigate after a heavy snowfall, but the hotel handles its own transport from their private car park. And the hotel could work a bit on the scrambled eggs, it makes them terribly dry :)."

"The amazing location just adds to what is an excellent hotel with nice, friendly staff. Food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast and there is a big terrace with fantastic views. The skiing facilities are great with true ski in ski out (for reasonable skiers) on small private runs."

"My new favourite hotel. Perched in the mountains at 2000m right on the edge of the ski slopes. Terrific drive up (you need a 4x4 and chains unless you use their shuttle). Lovely wooden chalet. Very traditional. Beautiful mountain views. Great bar and après ski terrace. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Reception area houses an impressive collection of rocks and minerals. Breakfast is great. Dinner is exceptional. Fine dining at altitude. We were very happy with the vegetarian options. An imaginative and skilful chef is at work here. The staff were all friendly and helpful."
