"The house was super nice and it is perfectly located, the nature around it is super stunning and perfect for hiking! Petri was a very nice host, super friendly and helpful. We had some good talks with him about Albania which was very interesting. The room was great and with a beautiful view to the mountains. A bit more variety for breakfast and some better coffee would have been nice but it was still good and besides that everything was great! Thanks for everything, Petri :)"

"Lovely family and children. Both hosts were so friendly and always there to help. Amazing location with beautiful views. Further away from the ‘centre’, if you can call it that, where more of the hotels are, but close to the start of the hike to the waterfall and then the blue eye, and next to the Reconciliation Tower and close to the church. Nice food downstairs in the restaurant and good breakfast in the morning. Very basic room. Bed was ok"

"Children running around everywhere - which is really lovely to see, but also noisy, esp if that’s not your thing, or you’re expecting a quiet country break! The rooms were very loud: we could hear everything from the other rooms - people constantly coming up and down stairs, moving about upstairs, kids crying and screaming. Loud from outside also as their own bar and restaurant are downstairs and there’s another next door. Things listed as ‘facilities’ weren’t there: No fan (and was extremely hot one of the nights!), no TV (mentioned twice. We didn’t need it, but some might!), and no soundproofing and ‘extra long bed’. No handwash in the bathroom or anywhere to hang a hand towel so cleaning hands more challenging!! No mirror in the bedroom (which makes it slower getting ready with 2 people)…All Just little things that would be so easy to fix and make it more perfect; like a bin in the room, or small fridge would be helpful when you’re there for trekking and want to store snacks, water etc. In general these things didn’t bother us massively, especially as location and family were so nice, but might not be for everyone and it’s irritating when things are listed that aren’t there."

"We did not “enjoy” our stay here, for several reasons. In short, the infrastructure of this building is very poor. The shower had no hot water or pressure - we had to message the host on two separate occasions to get them to sort it out, which they did, but this is not what you want after a day of hiking! Also, the shower head and handle felt like they were going to fall off when you went to use it. Thin walls - you can hear everything - from music and talking, to people on the toilet and in the shower. Bad nights sleep - whilst the bed is comfortable, we had the attic above us, where we believed that a staff member was living. It had a wooden ladder with no latch or door, and you could hear every single movement from below when this person was moving about upstairs. The wooden ladder is so so loud. We were woken up several times throughout the night and early morning. It’s unacceptable to have anyone staying in this attic without proper soundproofing or a proper door. It’s one of the oddest things we’ve experienced this year. The breakfast - fine but not “enjoyable”. Cold fried eggs and cold coffee wasn’t the best way to start the day. If you’re doing cold eggs, at least make them boiled! By the end of our time here, it felt like an expensive stay, where we were really ready to leave."
